Operations Officer - Finance

Position overview Avaaz is searching for a mission-driven Operations Officer (Finance) to join its multicultural and international team in a full-time role. The Finance team supports Avaaz ’s campaigns and global operations through accurate financial records, reliable payments and timely financial information. The role will support day-to-day finance operations across Avaaz ’s US and UK entities, including accounts payable, expense reporting, reconciliations and support for financial reporting and audits. You will take responsibility for assigned processes, provide cover across the team and help improve how we work as our systems and operations develop. The position calls for strong attention to detail, dependable follow-through and clear communication with colleagues and vendors. The Operations Officer (Finance) will report to a member of the Finance team.
