Business Operations Graduate

About the Role This is a graduate-level operations role at an early-stage fintech banking startup, sitting within the core operations team and owning a critical operational domain day-to-day. You will run the queue yourself first, then systematically engineer it away, turning manual work into automated systems that reduce reliance on headcount. It is a high-agency, high-ownership position for someone who thinks in systems and measures success by the queue running without them. What You'll Do Take ownership of a core operational domain, running cases, reviews, and escalations hands-on from day one. Become the deepest expert on your domain's workflows, logging every point where processes break or create friction. Automate your own work by shipping rules and sub-flows to handle what you have been doing manually. Drive and validate measurable improvements on every workflow you rebuild. Handle edge cases and knife-edge scenarios that automation does not yet cover. Translate operational findings and failure modes into clear specs and requirements for Engineering and Product teams.
