Lead Network Architect

What success looks like in this role: Network Leadership & Escalation: Serves as the highest on shift escalation point for complex network issues, including routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and connectivity failures. Provides expert level troubleshooting and root cause analysis, building on Level 2 responsibilities such as: “Diagnoses and resolves complex issues across host environments and connectivity layers.”; Ensures network credential separation from server-focused staff. Operational Oversight: Oversees daily NOC operations for network monitoring, alert triage and proactive remediation. Ensures consistent execution of monitoring tasks derived from Level 2 duties like: "Performs daily monitoring and initiates proactive measures to ensure system functionality and load balance." Ensures 24x7 coverage, shift handoff quality and operational continuity. Incident & Problem Management: Owns major network incidents from detection through resolution. Leads post-incident reviews and drives long-term network remediation. Coordinates with Windows/Linux teams for cross-domain issues while maintaining credential boundaries.
