Distance Learning Facilitator: Creative Media Research Methods

This is a remote position. The SAE Distance (Distance) Campus is seeking a Creative Media Research Methods Facilitator to join our academic teaching team. This module introduces students to the systematic processes of research and inquiry within creative media contexts. It explores how research enhances creative practice through structured investigation, reflection, and analysis. Students will engage in both theoretical and practical aspects of research, developing skills in information retrieval, data collection, analysis, and academic reporting. The facilitator will guide students through the process of designing and developing a research proposal, preparing them for their final research project. Through interactive online facilitation, students will learn to identify research questions, review relevant literature, and apply appropriate research methodologies to creative practice inquiries. This role requires an experienced academic Facilitator with strong research literacy, creative industry insight, and the ability to support students in connecting research design to creative media production and innovation.
