Position: Medical Authorizations Specialist Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST) Full-Time, Remote Work. Key Responsibilities Review patient information and determine insurance authorization requirements. Submit authorization requests to insurance companies and relevant payers. Follow up with insurance providers regarding pending authorization requests. Monitor authorization status and ensure requests are processed within required timelines. Track approved, pending, denied, and expired authorizations. Obtain authorization numbers and accurately record authorization details.
