Virtual Medical Receptionist Remote | Neurology Facility | 40 Hours/Week | $5-$6/hour Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Virtual Medical Receptionist to support our busy US-based Neurology clinic. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate can effectively manage competing priorities, provide exceptional patient support, and maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of calls, referrals, and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities Appointment Scheduling Coordinate and schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently. Manage appointment confirmations, reschedules, and cancellations. Maintain provider schedules and optimize appointment availability. Prior Authorization (Medication) Process medication prior authorization requests. Communicate with insurance companies, pharmacies, providers, and patients regarding authorization status. Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely patient care.
