Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to independently execute and take expanded ownership of quality assurance and test automation activities on the BASIS program. Operating with minimal supervision, the QA Engineer carries direct responsibility for automated test design and delivery, test documentation ownership, defect lifecycle management, and security testing integration — all in support of the program's automation-first QA mandate. All quality assurance activities must be automated. The selected candidate will independently manage test automation deliverables across Agile sprint cycles, contribute to QA strategy discussions, support junior engineers, and interface with developers and Government stakeholders on quality metrics and release readiness across the deployment pipeline. This is a 100% remote role.
