Electrical Project Engineer - Substation

The Opportunity: Electrical Project Engineer In this role, you may: Serve as a technical specialist or project lead, offering coordination, guidance, and subject-matter expertise on substation projects. Support a wide range of substation designs up to 765kV, including both detailed engineering and EPC work. Develop protection and control design deliverablesrelay protection schemes, panel layouts, one-line/three-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, wiring designs, etc. Prepare physical design documentsyard layouts, grounding, lightning protection, building layouts, auxiliary AC/DC systems, and more. Perform or oversee design quality reviews. Mentor junior engineers and help strengthen team capabilities. Develop equipment specifications and bills of material for procurement and construction planning. Coordinate closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Present designs, proposals, and project updates. Travel as needed to client sites, vendor locations, and project sites. Manage design schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
