Renewable Energy Senior Project Development Attorney

Clean Energy Counsel , a mission-driven law firm dedicated to accelerating the world’s transition away from fossil fuels, seeks to hire a highly qualified mid-level project development associate with law firm experience and excellent academic credentials to join our firm. We are looking for an attorney who has expertise in both drafting and negotiating an array of renewable energy contracts such as EPCs, O&Ms, PPAs, etc. This position is fully remote – as a distributed law firm, we offer the opportunity to work remotely from wherever you are licensed to practice law. Experience and Qualifications Ideally 7-10 years’ experience at a law firm, ideally in a practice serving clients in the renewable energy and related industries. Experience negotiating a variety of traditional renewable energy contracts (EPCs, O&Ms, PPAs, etc.). Strong deal management, organization, drafting, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Team-focused outlook with a focus on mentoring junior attorneys. Proficiency in legal research and drafting. Ability to work independently and with a team.
