Solar Development Manager

JOB TITLE Solar Origination Manager JOB OVERVIEW Our client is a leading European Solar Developer with offices across Europe, APAC and Americas with presence in over 40 Countries with over 3GW in construction of solar plants globally. They are looking for a Development Manager in Japan who will be responsible to bring Projects from site purchase to NTP. Deal with all matters concerning permitting, as well as land- and grid-related actions in order to get the project to construction. REPORTS TO Country Director RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Support project development in Japan from early stage through to handover to the construction &operations team; lead all permitting efforts for one or multiple projects; Help coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and external service providers; Help manage and optimize project budgets, schedules and deliverables; Work closely with the local in-house development team, engineering, project optimization and finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient project execution/realization; Support market development, shaping and securing new project development opportunities; Interact with METI, OCCTO and the utility companies on behalf.
