Senior Engineer/Scientist- Epidemiologist

Overview Advanced Technologies & Laboratories International, Inc. (ATL) is hiring a Senior Engineer/Scientist - PhD/ScD epidemiologist (MACS- Military Aviators Cancer Study) with experience with the epidemiology of cancers, affected worker populations, and carcinogenic occupational exposures. Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities Provide subject matter expertise related to occupational exposures to radiation, chemicals, and fumes for the benefit of study design and data interpretation of military aviation and firefighter/1st responder data sets. Oversee and assist developing & conducting statistical analysis plans for various studies. Provide expert review of, or contribution to, job groupings into similar exposure groups. Works with team industrial hygienists and health physicists needed to review job titles and tasks and conduct expert ratings/rankings of occupational exposures to radiation, chemicals, and fumes. Contribute to a comprehensive literature review of potential aviation-related hazards in both military and commercial aviation and support crew activities.
