Localization Quality Controller - Korean - Project-based Freelance Position

Localization quality controllers (LQCs) support FunkyCorp project managers on localization projects. They ensure localized content reads naturally in their native language and meets our high standards. FunkyCorp is looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about translation, detail-oriented, and motivated by a challenge. What you’ll do: Assist in the creation of a terminology list and style guide that aligns with content strategy and clearly defines target-language-specific rules Manage the terminology list and style guide Review content that has been translated and proofread ensuring it is: Consistent with the terminology list and style guide Contextually accurate—some words/sentences may need to be translated differently depending on the context. For example, “subject” can be translated differently in French depending on the context: “sujet”, “objet”, “matière”. Free from mistranslations, grammatical errors, spelling mistakes and unnatural sentence structure/phrasing.
