Interface Engineer

Position Summary The Interface Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that connect clinical laboratories with hospital, laboratory, and medical practice information systems (HIS), electronic health records (EHR), and other healthcare systems. This role ensures seamless data exchange, secure communication, and data integrity between systems to support clinical operations and improve patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Architect, develop, implement and support/maintain interfaces that enable the exchange of patient and lab data between hospital systems (such as HIS and EHR) and laboratory information management systems (LIMS). Productivity expectations for a Corepoint Interface Engineer include: Development of 3-4 concurrent interface projects, 10-15 projects yearly. Complete an interface project in 90 days, or as quickly as possible given lab/client resources and competencies. Handle a proportionate share of support tickets for Corepoint environment.
