AWS Cloud Migration Engineer

Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an AWS Cloud Migration Engineer to be a part of a team supporting a federal financial customer. The successful candidate will help migrate critical customer data flows in a secure, agile, and innovative AWS environment leveraging GitLab for CI/CD and Terraform for infrastructure as code. Peraton serves as a valued partner to essential government agencies across the intelligence, space, cyber, defense, civilian, health, and state and local markets. What will you do: Lead the planning and execution of migrating and maintaining large complex data flows to modern cloud environments, specifically leveraging AWS cloud technologies. Support and enhance COTS products providing file transfer and MQ services (e.g., IBM MQ, Connect:Direct), integrating them into modern AWS architecture. Write clean, maintainable infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and cloud service logic using tools such as Python, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation or CDK.
