Senior Software Engineer- Platform About This Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you independently deliver complex features on schedule. You write easily maintainable code, contribute to reviews, and steadily improve team quality and velocity. You mentor other engineers and collaborate closely with Product, and Design to turn clear requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable production software. An average day may include leading technical discussions (both written asynchronously and verbal synchronously), reviewing code from colleagues, and troubleshooting critical and urgent issues. You’ll work closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to promote technical excellence. You’ll contribute thoughtful opinions on both code performance and user experience. You have an openness to understanding BibleProject ’s content and paradigm for approaching the Bible so that you can help us achieve our mission.
